Smuggling, also known as trafficking, is the clandestine transportation of goods or persons past a point where prohibited, such as out of a building, into a prison, or across an international border, in violation of applicable laws or other regulations. There are various motivations to smuggle; most, but not all stem from potential financial gain. These include the participation in illegal trade, such as drugs, illegal immigration or emigration, tax evasion, providing contraband to a prison inmate, or the theft of the items being smuggled. Examples of non-financial motivations include bringing banned items past a security checkpoint (such as airline security) or the removal of classified documents from a government or corporate office. On June 3, 2009 near Chiasso, Switzerland (near the Swiss/Italian border), Italian customs and financial police (Guardia di Finanza) detained two apparent Japanese nationals who had attempted to enter Switzerland and had in their possession a suitcase with a false bottom containing U.S. Treasury Bonds worth $134.5 billion. That will not be seen as any kind of defense, you could go to prison. Let the staff at the hospital determine this person's treatment, they almost certainly do know best. Okay, so we are all used to hearing about people trafficing illegal drugs through by the underground, cars, trucks, boats and even submarines. I was watching a law and order and i cried the whole episode.. one thing i can't get off my mind is what do the police do with the animals after caught, im sure the eggs and some other animals are returned to the wild but what about all the animals that are to socialized with humans? Do some get put down?
